About Stearns Consulting, LLC
My Story
I received a crash course in conflict management while serving four years onboard a ballistic submarine that would be submerged for 90-110 days at a time without pulling into a port. Navigating the dynamics of personalities and stressful situations in a closed environment was a daunting task for someone that grew up as an only child. Since that stage of my life, I have worked in the Semiconductor Industry, the Biotechnology Industry, and Academia in various capacities while interfacing with executive level leaders, mid-senior level management, and individuals in direct contributor roles. Throughout my professional and academic career, I have been deliberate about learning the dynamics of conflict. This experience has given me great insight into how conflict can be engaged in a healthy manner. My quality of life has improved tremendously, now I’d like to share my knowledge and experience to help others.
